Tube Configuration:
When assembled according to our physical point-to-point wiring diagram, the finished unit will have minimal noise and hum.
Rectification handled by Shuguang 5Z3P, preamp driven by Shuguang 6N9P, and power tubes using Psvane EL34C.

Output Transformer: 66x45, audiophile-grade 3+2 winding method, using imported 0.35 Z11 laminations x2

The amplifier delivers Class A power of 20W (2x10W), equivalent to approximately 80W-120W of solid-state amplifier driving force. Whether it can drive your speakers depends on room size and personal listening volume preferences.
Regarding power and speaker compatibility:
Single-ended tube amplifiers typically output between 3W and 30W (common range). Operating in Class A, they offer stronger load capacity than transistors, so even a few watts can drive most speakers (except those with low sensitivity). Our demo video shows the unit driving a pair of 2x150W floor-standing speakers with dual 6.5-inch drivers in a 20+ square meter room, with volume at 45% - already very loud!
Tube amplifiers perform exceptionally well when paired with quality speakers. The EL34 tubes deliver smooth, natural sound with rich bass, sweet warmth, and particularly expressive vocal reproduction. They are well-suited for vocals, piano, strings, guzheng (Chinese zither), and similar music.
The chassis is CNC laser-cut and finished with electrostatic powder coating, offering far superior texture and craftsmanship compared to stainless steel chassis, though at a higher cost.
Important Notes:
1. Tube amplifier DIY requires basic technical knowledge. We provide circuit diagrams, point-to-point wiring diagrams, and comprehensive technical support. With care and patience, success is achievable.
2. Our DIY products feature hand-bent stainless steel chassis and hand-sanded wooden side panels (in natural wood finish - customers may paint according to preference). Perfect finish is difficult to achieve. Please contact customer service with any concerns - we'll do our best to address them.
3. This tube amplifier does not include power cords or audio cables. As quality varies and preferences differ, we recommend customers source these separately.
4. Tubes are from previous-century stock. Brands may change based on inventory, and component upgrades may occur without notice.
5. We thoroughly inspect all components before shipping. If assembled according to provided diagrams, the unit will produce sound. As custom handmade products, no returns or exchanges are accepted once soldering is completed. Purchase implies agreement with these terms.
