Options:
Version 1: Standard Bare PCB
Version 2: Output Capacitor-less Design, Dual-Channel Shared Power Supply
Version 3: Output Capacitor-less Design, Mono Independent Power Supplies
Design & Features:
The main architecture is referenced from the Marantz SC-7S2 preamplifier.
Compared to VFA (Voltage Feedback Amplifier), CFA (Current Feedback Amplifier) offers higher bandwidth, higher slew rate, and lower distortion.
This is a high-specification version; please see the pictures for details.
Features 4 HDAM-SA3 modules per channel (8 modules total).
Includes a reserved interface for WM8816 volume control.
Audio signal output can be selected as Direct Coupled (Capacitor-less) or Capacitor Coupled.
Output Options:
Direct Coupled Output: Highly efficient signal transmission avoiding attenuation or delay. Eliminates the restriction and limitation of coupling devices on low-frequency signals. Prevents signal amplitude loss or phase shift, enabling full-frequency band signal output.
Capacitor Coupled Output: Utilizes Philips (Netherlands) axial capacitors.
Specifications:
Overall Dimensions: 100mm * 100mm * 25mm (H)
DC Power Supply: One set of ±24V for dual-channel shared use, OR two sets of ±24V for mono independent operation.
Sound Characteristics:
Four complementary cascode HDAM-SA3 Current Feedback amplification modules per channel.
Zero background noise. Rich texture, layering, and spatial perception. Wide dynamic range.
Balanced, clear, and detailed tri-frequency presentation. Clear instrument separation and an expansive soundstage.
High Frequencies: Excellent extension, extremely low distortion, rich and smooth detail.
Midrange: Transparent, with full and natural vocals.
Bass: Powerful and deep extension without being loose, with ample dynamic control.
